Who we are

The Assembly of Phantasms is a live entertainment company originally formed in 2023 by director/producer Valerie America Lavelle. The first production was The Masque of The Red Death, based on the short story by Edgar Allan Poe, which blended the original text with several variety acts to create a style that they continued. In 2024, they took this show to The Atlanta Fringe Festival and have since created 4 other productions (Grimms’ Fairytales, Alice in Wonderland, A Midsummer Night’s Dream), all featured at the Historic Club One Savannah.

The rotating cast and crew are made of some of Savannah’s top talent and have earned many awards including: SPA Technical Excellence Award, Mx. Savannah, Connect Savannah Best Local Actress, GLCC Golden Edge Award, Fem Fest Most Dazzling Performer, First City Pride So You Think You Can Drag, Connect Savannah Best Local Burlesque Performer, and more!
